How To Develop Healthy Habits

I think that every video I have done is not only done through the lens of nutrition but through the lens of time. Life is too short to try fad diets and live a unhealthy life.the delicious nutritionistIt takes 21 days to form a new habit and this is the secret for giving that 1% shift in your life. It is this 1% shift that equals your dream health. You might think taking a gradual approach is easier than making a radical shift on all areas at once. Example if you say to yourself I'm going to stop eating desert and remove meat once a week.  But you are denying yourself habits you enjoy which is difficult plus you’re not going to experience a major improvement in your health just from cutting out chocolate cake one night a week and steak on a Thursday dinner. It is also hard to stay motivated. The most effective and sustainable motivator is feeling good! The results you will get from shifting everything at once will speak for themselves as who doesn’t wanna feel good. So make a bunch of big changes at once and you will quickly experience major self-motivated improvements in your health“Depending on what they are, our habits will either make us or break us. We become what we repeatedly do.” ―Sean Coveyhttps://youtu.be/yoPP499-1n8The thing that makes me stand out as a Nutritionist and Life Coach is that I don't just prescribe a diet for 2 weeks, I help the client realise this change is who they are now. If we change at the identity level the habit is a lifestyle. Now if that is too overwhelming we can start doing all the habits at the micro level. Like just do a 10 minute fitness regime, as motivation and willpower isn’t alone guarantee success. Stop blaming yourself if you found it hard to change. We need to start small, we all know that we need to eat healthy and how to do it but facts aren’t enough to change. Start off small for example if you want to start flossing teeth just floss one tooth. For stickable habits we need to make them enjoyable and easy. For example checking social media first thing in the morning we do it because one it’s enjoyable which is motivating second it is easy because the phone is near us and is probably also an alarm clock which prompts us to pick up in the first place. Before you go I have a program called The Delicious Transformation it is one of the most popular programs as it breaks down everything you need to do on health and I give a brand new meal plan every week. You can download a 3 day meal plan and the exercise masterclass but clicking this link Follow me on instagram @thedeliciousnutritionist
